NIKON PHOTOGRAPHER/URBAN BIRDING

NIKON Europe about the music for the NIKON MONARCH HG Photographer commercial- I really like this and think they hit the emotional “nail on the head”.

ABOUT NIKON PHOTOGRAPHER:

Nikon Photographer was a very interesting commercial about the Nikon binoculars HG. Featured National Geographic photographer Robert Brendhagen uses binoculars to get his perfect pictures: “My most cherished moment is when I finally captured an image I had in my head for more than ten years. There are only about 150 arctic foxes in the Norwegian mountains, and there is a full moon only once a month. My dream was to capture an arctic fox in front of the full moon. After a long wait and countless attempts, I succeeded a couple years ago! That was fantastic! September 19th at 19.52 o’clock is the date and time I will always remember.

Inside my head there are many pictures. Some of them I have taken – and others have not yet “come out”. After ten years of waiting I got my reward. The picture I was dreaming about was the Arctic fox under the full moon, or “in it” if you like.

When I started composing for Nikon Photographer the music had to “emerge” from the Scandinavian landscape and build into this withheld ecstatic moment when Roger finally nails the picture of the fox.

ABOUT NIKON URBAN BIRDING:

Urban birding becomes more popular every day, because the cities increasingly become a natural habitat for all kinds of birds. Steve relies on his binoculars to spot the birds in the inner city….

For this one the music had to be orchestral and reminiscent of music found in wildlife documentaries.
