HUMANITY MONGOLIA DOCUMENTARY
In 2001 photographer Ruben Timman has a dream about the museum of humanity. It's in a terrible state. Everything is covered in dust, the glass is broken and it is dark. What is really bothering him is that no one seems to care. Ruben awakes and feels the urge to prove the opposite. So he embarks on a lifelong journey to find beauty and dignity in the world. First stop: Mongolia.
We wanted the music to emulate Ruben’s curiosity; who is this person before my lens? What stories do they carry? We also wanted the score to summon feelings of tranquility, beauty and wonderment.
