Hi welcome to my website! I’m Wiebe, a film composer based in Amsterdam
I love cinema and writing music for it. I started playing music on a guitar and started composing my own stuff in my teens. Played in many indiebands, as a guitarist, bass player and singer/ songwriter. From grunge to British 90’s rock n roll. Mostly original music. Played lots of gigs in festivals and venues. Started composing for film doing some TV commercials first, but later for animated TV series, documentaries, film, theatre, museum exhibitions and recently TV drama series.
Studied cinematic orchestration with UK film composer Guy Michelmore and I learned the piano and lots of other instruments, that I used in the scores of past projects.

Latest work: Additonal music for a Dutch drama TV series Tenminste Houdbaar Tot S2 (2024), audio-post, sounddesign, music for docu series “Faces Of Africa”(2023). “On The Right Foot” (BUMA Funded) neoclassical orchestral piece (with the Dutch String Collective)(2023). Album (piano and cello) “I Am Water”, inspired by the natural underwater world (2022).
In development working on a stopmotion animated documentary: “Kleine Broertjes Gaan Niet Dood” (Little Brothers Don’t Die), produced by The Rogues (HUMAN) and two other full length documentaries in development.
